How to Create A Good Routine

Struggling to get back to the studio or into a good and healthy routine for your body AND mind?!

We talked to a lot of our clients the last week and some of you are still in this boat post-summer.

But let me tell you – NOW is the time! Beat the time change and get back to your healthy movement routine this week! Here are some ways to make it easy and fun.

Start Out Small

A lot of times we want to go from zero to one hundred, and we’ll find that after one week of five workouts and eating well we will then crash. The next week we will be so tired and unable to recover and stick to the routine we so badly wanted to.

Don’t do this.

Choose 1, 2, or even 3 classes this week to get to. Something manageable for YOU.

If you have a new baby at home – maybe it’s once a week to start.

If you have kids at home to help with homework – maybe two times a week is the most manageable and sustainable for you right now.

Maybe you’re a teacher and you’re finally back in the groove at work and you’re able to commit three or more times a week to yourself again!

Whatever it is, think about doing this routine for the month of November first and then add on if things feel good!

Set A Goal

How do you want to feel?

Strong? Less stressed? More fit?

Choose classes that are going to help you achieve that goal!

Here are a few examples on our schedule that may help…

Inferno Classes: For those that want an intense workout, burn calories, gain strength and tone up!

Barre Classes: For those that want a low impact workout, but still want to build strength and endurance.

Yoga Classes: For those looking to find more zen and relaxation this fall and holiday season, or simply to focus on recovery post athletic season!
